Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building robust backend systems and APIs that power our web applications and SaaS products, along with exposure to AI tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Django and Django REST Framework (Python)
• Create and optimize RESTful APIs for frontend integration
• Work with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) to design efficient data models and queries
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, architect, client product owners, and other stakeholders
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning
• Debug production issues and implement solutions
• Assist with deployment processes on AWS infrastructure
• Integrate AI tools and frameworks into backend systems as needed
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and work on multiple projects as needed

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Experience working with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/Bitbucket)
• Basic understanding of AWS deployment processes
• Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
• Experience working in an agile development environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with B2B SaaS products
• Understanding of frontend technologies (React, Next.js)
