Role Overview We are looking for a Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building robust backend systems and APIs that power our web applications and SaaS products, along with exposure to AI tools and frameworks. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Django and Django REST Framework (Python) Create and optimize RESTful APIs for frontend integration Work with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) to design efficient data models and queries Collaborate closely with frontend developers, architect, client product owners, and other stakeholders Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning Debug production issues and implement solutions Assist with deployment processes on AWS infrastructure Integrate AI tools and frameworks into backend systems as needed Adapt quickly to changing priorities and work on multiple projects as needed Requirements Hands-on experience with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles Experience working with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) Familiarity with version control systems (Git/Bitbucket) Basic understanding of AWS deployment processes Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks effectively Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders Experience working in an agile development environment Nice to Have Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Experience working with B2B SaaS products Understanding of frontend technologies (React, Next.js) Experience with AI implementations and integrations Work Environment Location: Bangalore (In-office preferred, hybrid) Fast-paced startup environment with high ownership opportunities Collaborative team structure working across different projects Opportunity to work directly with clients and various stakeholders We believe in rewarding talent appropriately and are open to negotiating compensation based on your skills, experience, and the value you bring to our team.
