Your Role As a Node.js Backend Developer Intern, you will work with a fast-moving team to design, develop, and implement scalable backend services. You will focus on creating secure APIs, managing data with MongoDB, and ensuring reliable performance across the platform. Responsibilities API Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js for core platform functionalities. Database Management: Design, query, and optimize MongoDB databases for scalable data storage and retrieval. Service Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and internal services for seamless backend operations. Debugging & Optimization: Identify issues, enhance backend performance, and ensure data integrity and security. Team Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to ship features efficiently. Requirements Node.js Knowledge: Hands-on experience or coursework in backend development using Node.js. MongoDB Proficiency: Strong understanding of MongoDB and working with NoSQL data models. REST APIs: Solid grasp of building and consuming RESTful APIs. Git & Version Control: Basic experience with Git for code collaboration and versioning. Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with a focus on scalable and maintainable solutions. Team Skills: Strong communication and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
