Back Office Executive – Job Description

Job Title: Back Office Executive
Department: Operations / Administration / Support Services
Reports To: Office Manager / Operations Manager / Department Head
Location Indore
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contract

Job Summary:

The Back Office Executive is responsible for handling administrative and support tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the company’s internal processes. This includes data entry, record-keeping, documentation, coordination with internal departments, and providing support to the front office and management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in databases and systems.
  • Manage and organize electronic and paper files.
  • Handle inventory management and procurement-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and internal documentation.
  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and internal queries.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of data and documents.
  • Conduct basic research and gather data as required.
  • Provide administrative support to HR, finance, and other internal departments.
  • Monitor and update internal tracking systems and logs.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a back office, administrative, or support role.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems.
  • Experience in [industry-specific] operations (e.g., banking, logistics, healthcare, etc.).
