Job Purpose:

The Policy Issuance & Quotation Executive is responsible for the accurate and timely generation of insurance quotations, policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals in coordination with insurers and internal teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quotation Generation:

o Coordinate with insurers to obtain premium quotes for various general, life, and health insurance products.

o Compare quotations and prepare competitive pricing proposals.

o Share quotations with the sales team or clients as required.

2. Policy Issuance:

o Verify customer KYC documents, proposal forms, and related paperwork.

o Ensure completeness and accuracy before initiating policy issuance.

o Process policy issuance through insurer portals and internal systems.

3. Endorsements & Renewals:

o Process changes in policy terms (endorsements) such as address, name, or coverage updates.

o Track and initiate renewal notices; coordinate with clients for timely renewal.

4. Coordination:

o Liaise with insurance companies, underwriters, and sales teams for documentation and clarification.

o Resolve queries related to quotation or policy processing.

5. Compliance & Documentation:

o Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and company SOPs.

o Maintain accurate logs, MIS reports, and documentation for internal audits.

6. Customer Support:

o Address customer queries regarding issued policies, premium amounts, and terms & conditions.

o Provide after-sales support and policy servicing assistance.

Required Skills:

· Strong understanding of insurance broking operations and products.

· Hands-on experience in using insurer portals and internal policy management systems.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Good coordination and interpersonal abilities.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic computer applications.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

· Minimum 2 years of experience in policy issuance and quotation roles within an insurance broking company.

· Should possess strong knowledge of motor, health, and life insurance policies.

· Must be a graduate in any discipline.

· Immediate joiners will be given priority.

Note: This role plays a critical part in the company’s operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The candidate must be committed, detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of insurance documentation and systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
