Role Overview

Backend Developer

AI/LLMs, prompt engineering, and vector databases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems for web applications.
Build and integrate AI/ML solutions, focusing on
LLMs, NLP,
and
web search applications.
Implement and integrate vector databases
for semantic and similarity search.
Work on
prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning,
and
API integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable product features.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using Python
and related frameworks.
Work with
REST APIs
,
MySQL/PostgreSQL
, and structured/unstructured data (e.g., JSON).
Stay updated on developments in
Generative AI, search systems,
and
backend technologies.
Participate in agile sprints involving testing, debugging, and deployment.

Requirements

2–3 years
of experience in software development with exposure to
AI/LLMs
and
web applications.
Proficiency in:
Backend:
Python
Databases:
MySQL or PostgreSQL
AI/ML:
Python libraries such as
OpenAI, LangChain
, etc.
Hands-on experience with
vector databases.
Practical knowledge of prompt engineering
and
OpenAI APIs
(or similar LLM platforms).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Collaborative mindset with familiarity in
Git
or other version control tools.

Good to Have

Experience with
Elasticsearch
or other advanced web-based search technologies.
Understanding of
secure coding practices
and
accessibility standards.
