Role Description

Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

App Backend Development

• Build, maintain, and scale backend services and APIs for our main application
• Implement secure, high-performance logic using Node.js
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data modeling, migrations, and query optimization
• Write clean, modular, and testable backend code
• Debug performance issues and ensure smooth production deployments
• 
  
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams to translate business requirements into backend functionality

Internal Tools Backend

• Develop and enhance backend systems for internal portals, automation tools, dashboards, and admin panels
• Integrate APIs, data pipelines, and background processes to support internal operations
• Ensure reliability, accuracy, and maintainability of internal systems
• Work closely with internal teams (operations, accounts, sales) to build tools that improve workflow efficiency

Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend development experience

  (excluding internships)

• Strong expertise in Node.js

  (must-have)
• Working knowledge of

  Python

  (preferred)
• Experience with

  REST APIs

  , authentication, and server-side architecture
• Proficiency in

  SQL/NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with

  Git

  , CLI tools, and code review processes
• Experience with

  AWS/GCP/Azure

  is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication
