Job Title: Nest.js / Node.js Developer

Role Overview:

Nest.js + Node.js Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using
Nest.js
and
Node.js
.
Architect scalable and modular backend systems following industry best practices.
Build and integrate
REST APIs
for high-availability and low-latency applications.
Develop and maintain
microservices
-based architecture when required.
Implement secure, robust, and optimized server-side logic and data structures.
Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code with proper documentation.
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and integrate third-party services as needed.

Required Skills:

5+ years of professional experience in
Node.js backend development
.
Strong hands-on experience with
Nest.js
framework.
Solid understanding of
backend architecture
, design patterns, modular structure, and CI/CD workflows.
Experience building and consuming
RESTful APIs
.
Knowledge of
microservices architecture
and distributed systems.
Experience with databases such as
PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
, etc.
Familiarity with authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth, RBAC).
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and collaborative workflows.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with
message queues
(RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS).
Knowledge of
containerization
(Docker) and
cloud platforms
(AWS, GCP, Azure).
Exposure to TypeScript, unit testing frameworks (Jest), and API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).
