• Design and develop new diesel engine components and systems, including but not limited to: cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, crankshafts, connecting rods, pistons, valvetrain components, fuel systems, lubrication systems, cooling systems, and exhaust systems.
• Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo) to create detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
• Conduct engineering calculations and simulations (e.g., FEA, CFD) to validate designs, predict performance, and identify areas for optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, testing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure design manufacturability, assembly, and performance.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to enhance product reliability, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Investigate and resolve design-related issues, implement corrective actions, and document design changes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in diesel engine design and manufacturing.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for design projects.
• Contribute to intellectual property development through patents and trade secrets

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• 15 years of experience in diesel engine design, development, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo).
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engine theory, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.
• Experience with FEA and/or CFD simulation tools is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes (e.g., casting, forging, machining, welding).
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
