Azure Databricks Engineer

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✔ Data Integration & ETL/ELT Development

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using

  Azure Databricks, Python, SQL/T-SQL, and Spark

  .
• Extract, clean, transform, and load data from diverse sources into

  Azure Data Lake

  and data warehouse environments.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability for analytics and reporting.

✔ Data Management & Storage

• Implement robust storage solutions using

  Azure Databricks & Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)

  .
• Architect secure and scalable data models aligned with business and performance requirements.

✔ Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Optimization

• Set up proactive monitoring and alerting systems for pipelines and data workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data processing.
• Perform

  performance tuning

  to enhance pipeline efficiency and reduce processing time and cost.

✔ Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with

  data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders

  .
• Translate business requirements into reliable, high-quality technical solutions.
• Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in

  Data Engineering

  .
• Strong expertise in

  Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Spark, SQL/T-SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, Python

  .
• Solid understanding of

  data warehousing concepts

  , data integration strategies, and transformation frameworks.
• Proven experience in

  monitoring, debugging, and performance optimization

  of data pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in

  Computer Science, Engineering

  , or related field.

🔹 Preferred Skills

• Experience with

  Power BI

  for dashboards and reporting.
• Knowledge of

  Azure Stream Analytics

  for real-time data processing.
• Understanding of

  data governance and security best practices

  .
