Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Azure Architect located in Hyderabad. The Azure Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions utilizing Azure services. Daily tasks include solution architecture, managing infrastructure, integrating software systems, and ensuring alignment with best practices. The role requires close collaboration with development teams and stakeholders to optimize cloud-based solutions and ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows & Azure Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in observability, automation, and infrastructure modernization. The ideal candidate will have a solid Windows system administration background and deep experience with Azure cloud, Terraform, GitHub-based CI/CD, and modern monitoring tools. You will lead efforts in infrastructure automation, incident response, and improving monitoring for hybrid environments across IaaS and PaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

● Implement and manage observability tools such as Grafana, Datadog, Azure Monitor, and Checkly.

● Configure dashboards, alerts, and routing into Jira Service Management using OpsGenie integration.

● Maintain and troubleshoot hybrid workloads including Windows VMs, IIS, SQL Server, Azure App Services, and Azure Functions.

● Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, implementing GitOps for Azure infrastructure and serverless deployments.

● Build service mappings and SOPs for NOC and Operations teams.

● Lead incident management processes and escalation procedures within JSM.

● Perform migrations from VMware/DC/AWS to Azure using Terraform.

● Administer and manage tools like Ivanti, Vanta, and SentinelOne.

● Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve monitoring coverage and alert accuracy.

● Train and mentor junior staff on tools, SOPs, and operational readiness.

Required Skills & Experience:

● 8+ years of experience in Windows Administration with deep hands-on expertise in: ○ Windows IIS, Powershell, Windows Registry, Scheduling, Package Management, Active Directory, Group Policy

● Strong understanding of Terraform (Azure specific) and networking fundamentals

● Proven experience with Jira Service Management, Incident Response, and SOP development

● Expert-level experience with Azure infrastructure and services

● Experience building and deploying .NET applications (monolith and microservices)

● Strong GitHub expertise including branching strategies, workflows, and CI/CD pipelines

● Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI within Azure

● Experience in multi-cloud environments is a plus (AWS/GCP)

● Excellent communication and documentation skills
