Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), container orchestration, configuration management, and infrastructure monitoring. You will work closely with the development, QA, and IT teams to streamline deployments, ensure system reliability, and automate operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or similar tools.

Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Route53, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).

Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.

Maintain secure and scalable Linux server environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Write and maintain shell scripts or Python scripts for automation and monitoring tasks.

Setup and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or CloudWatch.

Implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Collaborate with development teams for efficient DevSecOps practices including secrets management and vulnerability scans.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and preventive planning.

Required Skills and Experience:

3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

Proficient in GitLab (or GitHub Actions, Jenkins), including runners and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, EKS, etc.).

Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm, volumes, services, autoscaling.

Solid experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.

Good understanding of Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.

Strong scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python.

Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Zabbix.

Familiar with log management tools (ELK Stack, Fluentd, or CloudWatch Logs).

Familiarity with SSL/TLS, DNS, load balancers (Nginx/HAProxy), and firewall/security configurations.

Knowledge of version control systems (Git), branching strategies, and GitOps practices.

Good to Have (Optional but Preferred):

Experience with Terraform or Pulumi for cloud infrastructure provisioning.

Knowledge of security compliance standards (ISO, SOC2, PCI DSS).

Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis.

Familiarity with service meshes like Istio or Linkerd.

Experience with cost optimization and autoscaling strategies on AWS.

Exposure to incident management tools (PagerDuty, Opsgenie).

Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, RHCE) is a plus.
