AWS Devops Engineer-Immediate Joiners

Role Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in AWS services and cloud infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in configuring and managing EC2, HAProxy, EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), IAM, VPC, ALB, Helm charts, Auto Scaling, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline implementation. The candidate will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• AWS Infrastructure Management:

• Design, configure, and manage AWS resources including EC2, IAM, VPC, ALB, and Auto Scaling groups to ensure high availability and security.

• Kubernetes & EKS:

• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Amazon EKS. Implement Helm charts for application packaging and deployment.

• HAProxy Configuration:

• Set up and maintain HAProxy for load balancing and high availability of cloud-based applications.

• Infrastructure as Code:

• Use Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure.

• Containerization:

• Build, deploy, and manage Docker containers for application development and production environments.

• CI/CD Pipeline Implementation:

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline to enable automated build, test, and deployment processes.

• Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

• Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and reliability.

• Security & Compliance:

• Implement security best practices for cloud resources, including IAM policies, network segmentation, and compliance monitoring.

• Documentation:

• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, automation scripts, and operational procedures.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

• Demo Participation:

• Present weekly or bi-weekly demos to stakeholders, showcasing progress on assigned tickets and infrastructure enhancements.

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: In this role, you will be successful, if you have:

Experience:

• Post Graduate or Graduate in Engineering or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with Computer Science or Computer Applications or related Specialisation
• Minimum 8 to 12 years relevant experience in Software Applications & Development

Skills & Competencies:

• Experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC, ALB, EKS, Auto Scaling)
• Experience with HAProxy configuration and management
• Proficient in Kubernetes and Helm charts
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
• Proficient in Docker containerization
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
