AVEVA MES Consultant / Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead discussions and coordinate with customers to understand business requirements and document functional and technical specifications
  
• Participate in the design and architecture of MES enhancements and system integration projects
  
• Develop, deploy, troubleshoot, and support

  Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

  solutions
• Review application code, perform bug fixing, and optimize system performance
  
• Work on production, quality, inventory, performance management, data management, and reporting modules
  
• Integrate MES with

  ERP, PLM, and plant systems

• Assist application engineers during

  new site commissioning, upgrades, and system expansions

• Research, analyze, and document technical issues and solutions using knowledge base tools
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including consultants, IT engineers, and stakeholders
  
• Support occasional travel to customer sites as required
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  
• 4+ years of experience in

  Digital Manufacturing / MES solutions

• Strong hands-on experience with

  AVEVA MES / Wonderware MES

  (or similar MES platforms)
• Proficiency in

  MS SQL Server

  , including

  T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning

• Experience with

  JavaScript and frontend development

• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and shop-floor integration
  
• Familiarity with

  ISA-88 and ISA-95 standards

• Knowledge of

  OPC, PLC communication, and industrial data protocols

  (preferred)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  
• Positive, self-motivated, customer-focused, and a strong team player
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of

  ISA-95, 21 CFR Part 11, or GMP compliance

• Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, or historian systems
  
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies
  
• Experience with other MES platforms such as

  Rockwell FactoryTalk, Siemens Opcenter

  , etc.
