Automation Tester

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Tester with strong experience in the Banking orFinancial Services domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing testcases, identifying and reporting bugs, and ensuring the quality and functionality of bankingapplications through rigorous manual testing.

Key Responsibilities

Understand and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and system architecture.Design and develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and scenarios.Execute test cases manually and report results clearly and accurately.Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure highqualitydeliverables.Validate and verify data for backend/database testing using SQL.Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting activities.Ensure compliance with test processes, methodologies, and best practice Required Skills:4 to 7 years of experience in manual testing, specifically in the banking or financial services domain(e.g., retail banking, payments, loans, core banking systems).Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC, defect life cycle, and QA methodologies.Hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases and test plans.Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestLink).Good understanding of database concepts and ability to write SQL queries for data validation Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
