Job Description

Direct Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using tools such as
Rest Assured, Cucumber
, and
API Testing Tools
.
Ensure automation test cases align with the
Enterprise Automation Framework
standards.
Support
manual testing
execution when needed by creating and maintaining test sets.
Assess
automation feasibility
for functional test sets/cases.
Provide test automation status updates and execution results to
Test Leads/Managers
.
Offer
technical guidance
to other API Automation Engineers.
Work collaboratively with QA, development, and project teams in an
Agile environment
.
Integrate test scripts within
CI/CD pipelines
.

Contributing Responsibilities:

Proficient in
Java
and scripting for
Web, Mobile, and API
automation using tools such as
Selenium, Appium
, and
Cucumber
.
Hands-on experience with
CI/CD tools
,
GitLab
, and
Nexus
.
Experience with
JIRA
and
XRay
is mandatory.
Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies:

Strong expertise in
functional testing
and
test automation
strategy.
Practical knowledge in building and maintaining
automation frameworks
.
Collaborative team player with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Specific Qualifications:

5+ years
of experience in QA/Software Testing.
Minimum
5 years of hands-on API test automation
experience.
At least
2 years of experience in the BFSI domain
; familiarity with personal finance or lending is a plus.
Proficiency in
Java programming
.
Bachelor's Degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology
, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
