Automation Test Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented manager, who specializes in test management and automation, to join our expanding NCR Global SRE Enablement Tools team.

Our primary customers are engineers inside of NCR using on-prem and cloud-hosted tools that improve productivity for NCR’s development community. We experience the impact our work is having, and we take pride in providing services with great availability and ease of use.

Experience you need:

• 2+ years of experience working, communicating, and managing colleagues in a hybrid work environment as part of a globally distributed team.
  
• 5+ years of experience of software development and software testing, with a focus in TDD and BDD.
  
• 5+ years of experience creating and managing test plans, test cases, and test data.
  
• Experience leading and developing company-wide testing and quality initiatives and common process that can be consumed by teams of varying testing maturities and technologies.
  
• Experience in communicating program initiatives with executive leadership.
  
• Experience with Practitest Test Management Tool
  
• Experience in Atlassian tools stack, specifically JIRA.
  
• Experience in designing Automation Frameworks-DataDrivenTesting, Hybrid Testing, Behavior Driven Development (Cucumber, Gherkin), Test Driven Development using Selenium.
  
• Experience in Creating, maintaining and executing test scripts using Selenium.
  
• Experience using Unit Testing frameworks-Junit, TestNG, Nunit.
  
• Advanced understanding of computer science fundamentals.
  
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience we hope to see:

• Experience of Github, Github Actions and Jenkins especially defining and managing CI/CD pipelines with YAML and Groovy , with a focus on testing.
  
• Experience in testing and maintaining applications in Google Cloud Platform and/or MS Azure – both in lower and higher environments.
