Automation Test Engineer

QA Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute

  manual test cases

  and identify/report bugs in a structured manner.
• Write and maintain

  automated test scripts using Python

  .
• Assist in building test automation frameworks and pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA leads, and product owners to ensure high-quality releases.
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration,

  and

  API testing

  .
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and work with developers for resolution.
• Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test data.

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of

  Python programming

  and ability to write clean, testable code.
• Knowledge of

  manual testing methodologies

  and best practices.
• Exposure to

  automation tools

  such as Selenium with Python, Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like

  Postman

  or

  Python requests library

  .
• Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL & MongoDB queries.
• Good knowledge of SDLC/STLC and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and eagerness to learn and grow in the QA domain.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Internship, academic projects, or certifications in testing or Python automation.
  

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
