Automation Test Engineer

As an Automation Test Engineer at PiServe, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and test suites. Your collaboration with developers, DevOps, and product teams will ensure that our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and scalability. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and passionate about building reliable test systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement automation testing frameworks from scratch. - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing. - Ensure seamless integration of automation tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Perform performance, load, and stress testing using tools like JMeter. - Collaborate with developers and product teams to define and validate test requirements. - Debug test failures, analyze logs, and provide detailed defect reports. - Establish and drive best practices for test strategies, coverage, and data management. - Continuously research, evaluate, and implement new tools, frameworks, and processes to improve testing efficiency. Required Skills & Experience: - Proven experience in setting up and maintaining automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, or similar). - Strong Python scripting skills for automation and utility development. - Solid experience with API testing (REST, GraphQL, Postman, etc.). - Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter. - Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git). - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). - Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. Good to Have: - Experience working in VMware environments. - Knowledge of security testing practices. - Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix.,
