About the Role

The Entry-Level Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting industrial automation projects and providing technical assistance to customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and commissioning of sensors, controllers, and automation equipment on customer sites.
• Support the configuration and integration of hardware with software platforms and data acquisition systems.
• Participate in on-site and remote troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with the project team to help execute and monitor project plans and timelines.
• Work closely with customers to provide basic technical support and training on installed systems.
• Document installation procedures, testing results, and service activities accurately.
• Assist in project coordination, inventory checks, and vendor follow-ups as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in industrial automation, sensor systems, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of industrial sensors, control systems, or networking concepts.
• Familiarity with tools like PLCs, or SCADA systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations and support.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mind-set.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to IoT platforms or cloud-based monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of wiring diagrams, control panels, or industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.).
• Internship or hands-on project experience in automation or control systems.
