Job Description

AGS Unit Design & Development Role: Design, development, and evaluation of AGS (Auto Gear Shift) Unit. Responsibilities: Design and develop AGS Unit components. Perform layout and packaging of AGS Unit in vehicles. Carry out bench-level evaluation and testing of AGS Unit. Analyze and resolve market issues/failures related to AGS Unit. Technical / Functional Competencies: Proficiency in CAD (Unigraphics preferred). CAE & analysis skills (preferably Unigraphics). Knowledge of Project Management Systems & Engineering BOM systems. Strong understanding of automotive hydraulic systems. Expertise in tolerance stack-up, DFMEA, root cause analysis, FTA. Thorough knowledge of manual transmission systems (gearbox, gear shift mechanism, synchromesh, clutch). Working knowledge of engine systems. Behavioral Competencies: Strong planning, monitoring, and tracking abilities for project milestones. Good documentation and knowledge management skills. Self-motivated, flexible, and a strong team player. Excellent networking, communication, and presentation skills. Proactive and initiative-driven. Preferred Expertise / Experience: Prior work experience in an OEM environment. Hands-on experience in Automotive Hydraulic System design, development, or application engineering.
