Role Summary

Sundaram and Srinivasan

This role is integral to maintaining the firm's commitment to excellence, client satisfaction, and upholding professional and ethical standards. It provides a platform for continuous learning, exposure to diverse industries, and career progression within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and execution of
statutory audits
in accordance with Companies Act and applicable standards.
Support in conducting
internal audits
and
process reviews
, including risk identification and control testing.
Participate in
testing and documentation of Internal Financial Controls (IFC)
as per regulatory frameworks.
Analyze financial statements and ensure compliance with
Ind AS and Schedule III
requirements.
Support GST and Income Tax
compliance reviews, reconciliations, and data validations
.
Prepare working papers, documentation, and audit evidence in compliance with firm and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with team members and client personnel to ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
Use
MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
, and tools like
Power BI
for analysis, reporting, and data visualization.
Stay updated with changes in laws, standards, and professional pronouncements.

Qualifications

Education

Skills

Sound understanding of
accounting principles, auditing standards, Ind AS, and Schedule III
.
Working knowledge of
GST, Income Tax
, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office tools
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to
Power BI
preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Good interpersonal and communication abilities (written and verbal).
