Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Executive – Stock / Inventory Audit to conduct thorough stock audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in inventory auditing, strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to identify discrepancies and recommend improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct stock and inventory audits across multiple locations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory norms.
• Perform physical stock counts, reconciliations, and process audits to detect and report discrepancies or inefficiencies.
• Review and evaluate inventory systems, internal controls, and risk management procedures related to stock management.
• Document and report audit findings, highlighting process weaknesses, discrepancies, and actionable recommendations.
• Analyze inventory transactions and stock movements to ensure proper documentation and adherence to accounting principles.
• Identify inventory shrinkage and propose corrective actions to improve accuracy and reduce losses.
• Prepare, review, and present detailed audit reports outlining audit methodology, findings, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure proper inventory handling and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and relevant auditing and accounting standards for inventory management.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in stock/inventory auditing, accounting, or a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and audit procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and inventory management software.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory frameworks.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.95 - ₹15,000.00 per month
