Asst. Restaurant Manager

3–6 years as a Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager / Operations Supervisor in a restaurant, hotel, or high-volume food outlet. Key Responsibilities✅ Operations & Service

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations
• Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, service, and billing
• Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and hygiene
• Monitor peak hour operations and resolve issues proactively

✅ Team Management

• Manage captains, waiters, kitchen support, and cleaners
• Staff scheduling, shift planning, and attendance control
• Regular training and discipline management
• Lead by example on grooming, punctuality, and behaviour

✅ Customer Experience

• Handle guest complaints and escalations professionally
• Build relationships with regular customers
• Maintain a polite, welcoming, and respectful atmosphere

✅ Sales & Revenue Control

• Improve average order value through upselling
• Monitor daily sales, discounts, and complimentary items
• Control food cost, wastage, and pilferage
• Support achievement of monthly sales targets

✅ Inventory & Vendor Coordination

• Monitor stock levels (raw materials, groceries, beverages)
• Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely ordering
• Verify GRN and control excess or emergency purchases

✅ Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure FSSAI, hygiene, and safety compliance
• Prepare daily sales, staff, and operational reports
• Coordinate with owner on performance updates

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Strong leadership and team-handling skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
• Good understanding of restaurant operations & service flow
• Ability to work under pressure and during peak hours
• Knowledge of POS systems, billing, and basic reports
• Fluency in Tamil & English (Hindi preferred)
• Honest, disciplined, and result-oriented

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship
Contract length: 4 weeks

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
