Job Description

As a Production Manager at our nutraceuticals production facility in the Powder section, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the entire manufacturing process. With 8 to 15 years of experience in nutraceutical or food supplement production, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GMP, FSSAI regulatory standards, and optimizing processes for efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Production Planning & Execution:** - Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand forecasts. - Monitor daily production activities to ensure targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines. - **Process Optimization:** - Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. - Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. - **People Management:** - Supervise, train, and motivate production staff for high performance and compliance. - Maintain discipline, safety, and morale among team members. - **Quality Assurance & Compliance:** - Ensure adherence to cGMP, HACCP, FSSAI, and other regulatory standards. - Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to maintain product quality. - **Inventory & Resource Management:** - Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely availability of raw materials. - Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment and machinery. - **Documentation & Reporting:** - Maintain accurate production records, batch manufacturing records (BMR), and SOPs. - Prepare regular reports on production efficiency, downtime, and key metrics. **Key Requirements:** - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related field. - 8 to 15 years of experience in nutraceutical or food supplement industry. - Strong understanding of GMP, FSSAI, and other regulatory standards. - Hands-on experience in tablet, capsule, powder, liquid, or softgel formulations preferred. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. - Exposure to international audits such as USFDA, WHO-GMP, etc. In this role, you will need to have a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to optimize processes for maximum efficiency while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. Your work location will be in person at our production facility.,
