Job Description

As an Assoc. Vice President (AVP) at Kroll, you will be responsible for scaling the Data, Analytics, and AI team while offering industry/sector solutions and providing thought leadership to build cloud-based automation tools. Your role will involve working closely with other Kroll colleagues across industries, engaging in client interactions, and exploring opportunities for career progression. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and apply methodologies to process and govern data assets for clients in transaction or value creation opportunities. - Build frameworks and models to implement data strategy components such as data governance, data quality, and data monetization. - Perform maturity assessments on data management capabilities of clients and advise on tools and roadmaps for implementation. - Develop and implement cloud/on-prem solutions to facilitate data-driven decision intelligence. - Handle large data volumes using the latest techniques and tools. - Work on buy/sell-side due diligence engagements and identify value creation opportunities for analytics application. - Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and coordinate between functional and technology teams. - Manage mid to large size deals and ensure smooth delivery on assigned engagements. - Lead mid-market deals from an analytics standpoint. - Prepare demo tools for client presentations. - Engage in direct client interactions for pre-sales activities, competitive pursuits, and client engagement delivery. - Review technical work of junior colleagues and provide coaching and development. - Demonstrate a strong work initiative, high-energy level, and adaptability to new challenges. - Travel as needed within the transaction advisory and financial accounting advisory environment. - Assist clients with building business cases and identifying value using data-driven approaches. - Work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills. - Advise stakeholders on relevant technical issues for their business area. - Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 8-12 years of related work experience in Data Engineering/Business Intelligence. - Proficiency in MS Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data Lake, and more. - Strong experience in using business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Alteryx, and Tableau. - Ability to program using Python, NoSQL, PL/SQL. - Working knowledge of BI practices, analysis, visualization, and latest trends. - Experience in Merger & Acquisition domain areas. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a tier 1 college. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent interpersonal and client relationships skills. - Dedication to teamwork. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word and Excel. - Flexibility to travel as needed. - Supervisory experience and willingness to mentor team members.
