Associate Technical Specialist - Service Management (SNO)

ServiceNow Developer / Implementation Specialist:

• Provide subject matter expertise, act as technical product advocate, design, develop and implement of ServiceNow Application and related Infrastructure.
• Experience with ServiceNow and ITOM configuration management database (CMDB) services in an enterprise production environment
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Infra components and Analytical skill on troubleshooting Performance related issues.
• Customize ServiceNow modules or applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules while maintaining upgrade support.
• Configure Application UI and Configure Workflow.
• Make recommendations on the design, development and overall ServiceNow best practices.
• Responsible for administration, support, configuration, and upgrades of the platform.
• Works on ITSM/ITIL initiatives and projects.
• Interfaces the ITSM platform with other 3rd party solution.
• Automates the flow of system alerts and events through the incident and problem management process.
• Responsible for security roles, ACLs, and segmentation of data on the ServiceNow platform.
• Working knowledge of cloud scripting languages preferably JavaScripts, JSON.
• Basic working knowledge of UNIX and web servers (Apache / Tomcat).
• Basic understanding and ability to script automated processes.
• Agile Scrum methodology Experience
• Along with the above, must have exposure any two of the following areas:

• Implementation of CMDB & Asset Management, CMDB
• Implementation & customization experience in HR modules
• Implementation & customization experience in Finance modules
• Implementation & customization experience in Security modules
• Extensive implementation in custom applications

Experience:

•  Minimum of 4 + years of ServiceNow development experience.
• At least 5+ years of experience in working with ITSM tools.
• Deep understanding of system and ITSM and ITOMS core configurations in ServiceNow.
• Expertise and experience with ServiceNow ITOM products are required
• ServiceNow experience with discovery, service mapping, and configuration management (CMDB) is crucial
• Accreditations / certifications in ServiceNow System Administrator and products such as Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITOM are preferred
• Experience with implementations and/or migrations to the ServiceNow platform.
• Understanding of integration capabilities in ServiceNow platforms.
• Knowledge to support, bi-directional integrations between monitoring tool and ServiceNow.
• Knowledge to support external data feed integration to an external reporting engine.
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow platform and infrastructure components.
• Knowledge on Oracle DB, UNIX, and Web servers (Apache / Tomcat).
• Practical experience with troubleshooting performance issues and working knowledge of tools provided by ServiceNow to troubleshoot performance related issues.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to describe technical solutions in terms of the business.
