Job Description

Role Overview: As a Global Transaction Banking Sales - Cash and Trade at DBS, you will be a crucial part of the product management team focusing on providing seamless and cost-effective solutions to customers in the Cash & Trade domain. You will have the opportunity to shape the business by conducting market research, enhancing product features, and participating in various marketing campaigns to promote Trade and Cash Management products. Key Responsibilities: - Effectively manage and grow the existing portfolio of customers - Grow the bank's market share by originating and acquiring new business - Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders such as Coverage RMs, GTS Product Teams, Implementation Team, Service, Operations, Legal & Compliance, etc. - Network with colleagues across DBS overseas branches to deepen existing regional clients and identify new potential customers - Demonstrate a sound risk and credit mindset to proactively manage portfolio triggers and provide guidance on risk management practices - Comply with the bank's internal compliance and risk guidelines in daily work activities - Foster long-lasting client relationships with a focus on new-age digital solutions - Maintain disciplined pipeline management and take full ownership of the portfolio - Analyze, maintain, and disseminate suitable MIS to drive business metrics - Collaborate with operations and sales to establish an effective customer service model - Identify system and process gaps and work with trade operations to address them - Conduct post-implementation reviews of new roll-outs and take necessary actions Qualifications Required: - Preferably a CA or MBA with a high level of thinking and execution capabilities - Strong communication and persuasive skills to influence stakeholders effectively - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with internal teams and business units - Commercial orientation to identify business opportunities and achieve budgeted targets - In-depth knowledge of GTS Solutions covering Trade Finance & Cash Management, legal compliance, and market trends - Understanding of RBI regulations governing Trade/Cash products and the general regulatory environment in India - Sound knowledge of local and international trade regulations and best practices in Trade Finance business Additional Company Details: DBS India values performance through value-based propositions, customer focus, maintaining high standards of honesty and integrity, and continuous learning and development.
