Job Summary

JD for U4, Position: Network and Security Specialist, Client Name: Australian Unity Role description/Main duties: Will be responsible to plan, design, build and implement enterprise class network security systems. Also, configure/implement/administration, test, troubleshoot, integrate & support complex infra security infrastructure solution/components etc. as part of main duties. Responsibilities: · Evaluate and analyse security policies efficiency and assist in planning. · Run risk assessment checks on firewalls, update security procedures and monitor all systems. · Manage and implement all network security processes and maintain proper reports for same. · Find security gaps by performing routine audits of hardware and software entities on the network and closing those gaps. · Perform and understanding of Palo Alto and analyse the report. · Design, build and implement enterprise class network security systems for a production environment in support of business needs and requirements. · Apply security policy standards, best practice and architectural strategy to ensure most efficient creation of network infrastructure designs. · Perform and understanding of firewall compliance report. · Understanding of the Zone protection in firewalls. · Review all existing user and server policies on the firewalls to assess these polices effectiveness, relevance, and compliance with best practices. · Identification and evaluation of policies are related to critical services such as DNS, SMTP, NTP and others to provide common service separation on the firewalls. · Support migration activities · Assess the User ID agent deployment model and collaborate with Australian Unity to determine the desired deployment model.
