Hiring for Senior IT Faculty

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader who can head our IT department whenever required. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the institution's IT infrastructure, systems, and services. He/she will lead a team of IT professionals, drive innovation, and ensure that technology is leveraged to support the institution's academic and administrative goals. Additionally, the he/she will contribute to the teaching and mentoring of students in IT-related subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management: - Provide strategic leadership and direction to the IT department. - Manage and supervise IT staff, including performance evaluation, training, and development. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

2. Teaching and Academic: - Teach IT-related subjects to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students. - Develop and update course content, curriculum, and instructional materials. - Mentor and guide students in their academic and project work.

3. IT Infrastructure and Systems: - Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (hardware, software, network). - Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of IT systems.

4. Technology Integration: - Identify and implement new technologies to support academic and administrative processes. - Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate technology in the curriculum and administrative functions.

5. IT Support and Services: - Ensure timely and effective IT support to students, faculty, and staff. - Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards.

6. Budgeting and Resource Management: - Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. - Procure and maintain IT equipment and software.

7. Compliance and Security: - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for IT. - Implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures.

Requirements: - Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Ph.D. preferred).

- Proven experience in IT teaching and also leadership roles, preferably in an academic setting.

- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure and systems.

- Excellent teaching, leadership, and communication skills.

- Ability to drive innovation and change.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Doctorate (Preferred)
