Associate Professor & HOD

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and academically strong Head of Department (HOD) – Computer Science to lead the department’s academic, administrative, and research initiatives. The HOD will be responsible for curriculum development, faculty leadership, student outcomes, and ensuring compliance with university and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Computer Science department’s academic and administrative functions
• Plan, design, and update curriculum in line with industry trends and academic standards
• Ensure effective delivery of programs such as B.Tech/B.E, BCA, MCA, M.Tech, or MSc (as applicable)
• Mentor, guide, and evaluate faculty members for teaching excellence and research output
• Oversee student academic performance, projects, internships, and placements
• Promote research, publications, patents, FDPs, workshops, seminars, and conferences
• Ensure compliance with AICTE/UGC/University/NAAC/NBA requirements
• Coordinate with management, deans, and other departments for academic planning
• Participate in accreditation, audits, and institutional ranking processes
• Encourage industry collaboration, MoUs, guest lectures, and industry-driven initiatives
• Manage departmental budget, infrastructure, and resource planning

Eligibility Criteria:

• PhD in Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering (preferred as per UGC/AICTE norms)
• Minimum 10–15 years of teaching experience, including leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, ML, Data Science, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Full Stack, etc.
• Proven track record in research publications, academic administration, and faculty development
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
