Role Overview

As a Product Operations Associate, you will sit at the intersection of product, business, and operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution of product workflows and resolving customer/partner issues. You will be the link between the product team and on-ground business teams — ensuring new product rollouts, optimizations, and processes run seamlessly.This is a generalist role that provides the individual with well-rounded exposure to the organization's business, technology, operations, and data. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to make a direct contribution to Volt’s customer experience and growth.

Fitment

This role is ideal for individuals who love solving problems collaboratively and want to own and drive a key charter by working with multiple PMs. The role requires a very strong understanding of customer psychology, data, and technology, and working on issues to optimize for conversions and customer experience. This role would suit those candidates with prior experience in operations/support/ in a high-growth B2C environment for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers to operationalize new product features, journeys, and integrations.
  • Investigate and resolve customer/partner issues in coordination with tech, ops, and business teams.
  • Work closely with business, sales, operations, and similar teams to identify areas of improvement and prioritize them in the sprints.
  • Liaise between product, tech, sales, and customer support to ensure alignment and smooth post-release operations.
  • Track recurring issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with stakeholders to close gaps and report progress to the broader teams.
  • Monitor the performance of the stack and metrics and work closely with PMs to solve any deviations in behavior.
  • Set up and drive process improvements for feature releases to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • Strong customer empathy and ability to put yourself in stakeholders' shoes in areas such as customer journeys, operations, etc.
  • At least 2 years of full-time experience as a product analyst or in product operations at a high-growth B2C startup.
  • Strong analytical skills; experience with tools like SQL, Excel, Amplitude, or similar tools for number crunching and analysis.
  • Strong communication and articulation skills, including verbal and written modes like documentation, process notes, communication templates, etc.
  • Strong understanding of user experience and product design in terms of interaction and funnels.
  • Strong in setting up processes and driving stakeholder alignment and adherence to the processes.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate would be someone who’s worked with a startup or growth-stage organization as an analyst or in a product operations role and wants to transition to owning a key vertical in a growth-stage B2C company.
