The role is pivotal in leading the Quality Management Team (QT) and ensuring the Firm's compliance with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s (ICAI’s) Standards on Quality Controls (SQC1) and other applicable regulatory and ethical standards. The responsibilities include developing and maintaining the quality management systems, process, and controls; and providing expert consultation across various compliance related matters.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and monitor Firm’s policies and procedures based on regulatory and other requirements and guidelines as per ICAI, Companies Act 2013 (Co. Act), NFRA and other relevant laws and regulations.
• Automation initiatives and process streamlining for seamless and efficient compliance.
• Periodic monitoring of existing process and controls and communicating the results to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain standardized templates/formats of commonly used documents viz. Engagement Letters, Reports, Presentations, Forms, Checklists etc. in compliance with the requirements of Code of Ethics (COE), Standards on Auditing (SAs), Co. Act, SQC1, and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Address and manage consultations received from engagement teams and Partners, including but not limited to following areas:
• Independence and ethical matters.
• Permissibility of non-audit services to audit clients.
• Conflict of interest checks as part of client acceptance and continuance processes.
• Compliance with requirements of COE and professional conduct.
• Compliance with SAs
• Review of reports/deliverables.
