Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    The Reginal / Cluster Security Head is responsible for implementing a technology-driven smart security function that aligns with business objectives to ensure all security decisions are data-driven. This role aims to optimize the cost of resources, mitigate risks, and provide assurance to management. The Cluster Security Head oversees security operations, coordinates with various stakeholders, and ensures compliance with security policies and government regulations, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and capability building within the security team.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Regional Security Lead-NR Technology-Driven Security Strategy: Layout and implement a technology-driven smart security strategy to optimize resource costs. Utilize advanced security tools and technologies to enable data-based decision-making. Develop and maintain security systems that provide real-time data and analytics for dynamic security operations. Implement tools and technologies to gather and analyze security data for informed decision-making. Regularly review and update security protocols based on data insights and emerging threats. Ensure security operations are agile and responsive to data-driven insights. Security Risk Mitigation and Assurance: Develop and implement comprehensive security risk mitigation plans to address potential threats. Conduct regular risk assessments and adjust security strategies accordingly. Provide assurance of security systems and processes across the business units. Monitor security policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies and applicable government regulations. Identify, investigate, and resolve security breaches in a timely manner. Conduct internal investigations and prepare detailed reports on findings, including losses or violations of regulations, policies, and procedures. Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain close liaison with Civil Administration, Police, and influential individuals. Coordinate security operations with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including land, communication, and CSR teams, to ensure integrated security measures. Prepare reports and make presentations on security-related matters to senior management and other stakeholders. Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders to enhance security cooperation and support. Training and Capability Building: Train subordinates and security professionals in the security domain to ensure continuous capability building. Develop and implement training programs that cover the latest security technologies and best practices. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements. Supervise security operations and ensure that team members adhere to established security protocols. Provide guidance and support to the security team to enhance their performance and professional development. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members. Budget Planning and Resource Management: Plan and manage the security budget to ensure judicious expenditure of resources. Optimize the use of resources by implementing cost-effective security measures. Regularly review budget allocations and make adjustments as needed to align with security objectives and business goals. Ensure that security resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to meet operational needs. Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments to optimize performance and cost-efficiency. Develop strategies to enhance the sustainability and scalability of security operations.     Crisis and Incident Management-SVC,Financial Acumen (Budget management, Costing, etc)-SVC,Fire Safety-SVC,IR / PR Management-SVC,Intelligence and Vigilance-SVC,Investigation and Due Diligence-SVC,Knowledge of Emergency safety and health procedures-SVC,Security Infra Planning, Design, and Integration-SVC

Qualifications and Experience


    Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, or related fields preferred Certification: Certification in security operations or management, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP), is preferred. Work Experience (Range of years): Minimum 10 years of experience in security management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple locations. Proven experience in implementing advanced security technologies and managing large security teams.
