About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Associate Director – Medical Billing to manage operations and lead high-performing teams within our healthcare RCM practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring billing accuracy, driving productivity, strengthening client relationships, and supporting organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily medical billing operations (charge entry, Medical Billing, AR, denials, collections).
• Drive operational efficiency through process improvement and adherence to KPIs/SLAs.
• Manage and mentor large teams, ensuring high employee engagement and low attrition.
• Collaborate with Directors / Sr. Directors to execute business strategy and meet client expectations.
• Analyze metrics and provide actionable insights to improve financial and operational outcomes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, payer guidelines) and maintain quality standards.
• Act as a key point of contact for client communication and escalations.

Desired Profile

• 12+ years of experience in Medical Billing / RCM, with 3–5 years in a managerial / senior leadership role.
• Strong domain knowledge across billing processes, AR follow-up, denial management, and payer policies.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale operations and multiple clients.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Exposure to automation tools / process transformation is an advantage.
