Company: Marsh Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Bid Management team at Marsh Mc Lennan. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Job Title : Senior Manager - Proposal Specialist Location : Mumbai No. of Roles : 1 We will count on you to: Lead and manage the team, providing guidance, mentorship and support to ensure high performance and professional development Facilitate training sessions and workshops to improve the skills and knowledge of the bid management team and other stakeholders involved in the proposal process Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and internal teams, to foster collaboration and support successful bid outcomes Personally lead higher-value RFP responses, ensuring the development of high-quality, tailored proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition and meet client/prospect requirements Monitor and analyse bid performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement What you need to have: 10 to 14 years in a full-time Bid Management role . Prior experience leading the sales enablement workflow on key projects independently or managing team members would be an advantage. Strong understanding of the bid management process and best practices Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with proposal management software (e.g., QorusDocs, RFPIO, Qvidian, etc.) is preferred Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to improve bid strategies Eligibility Minimum 12 months experience as Senior Manager (E ) / Associate Director (F) Should have at least On-Track or equivalent rating in last appraisal. Should not be under any Performance Counselling Plan or had any official disciplinary action within the last 3 months.
