Associate Director – People & Program Management


It is ideal for a leader who enjoys building maturity, developing people, and raising the overall performance bar across the organization. 


Key Responsibilities


1. Leadership & People Development

  • Manage and mentor group of PMs/Tech Leads to improve execution and decision-making. 
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and proactive communication. 
  • Support leadership development and career growth for managers and emerging leaders. 
  • Inspire and influence teams to adopt best practices and elevate performance. 


2. Program & Project Governance

  • Oversee key initiatives through structured reviews, dashboards, KPIs, and governance routines. 
  • Establish delivery frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and risk management practices. 
  • Improve predictability with milestone planning, dependency tracking, and proactive issue resolution. 
  • Drive standardization of delivery processes to uplift maturity across teams. 


3. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Define practical KPIs that drive alignment, predictability, and accountability. 
  • Identify maturity gaps and implement initiatives to improve delivery performance. 
  • Promote structured execution, process discipline, and data-driven decision-making. 
  • Foster a high-energy, results-oriented delivery culture. 


Requirements


  • 10–15 years of experience in technology, project, or program management roles. 
  • Proven experience leading managers and cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, engineering practices, and project governance. 
  • High-energy, action-oriented leader with strong execution focus. 
  • Ability to influence and mentor senior team members without relying on authority. 
  • Excellent skills in prioritization, decision-making, stakeholder management, and communication 


Preferred Attributes


  • Ability to influence without authority and uplift team maturity. 
  • Strong ownership mindset with structured, strategic thinking. 
  • Experience in implementing governance models, KPIs, and delivery frameworks. 
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding technology-driven decisions. 
  • Passion for developing leaders and building high-performing teams. 
  • Practical mindset, focus on what works, not overcomplicated frameworks.
