Job Summary

As an Entry-Level Consultant, you will join a dynamic consulting team focused on delivering, developing, and supporting next-generation Oracle Banking products. You will receive comprehensive training and guidance as you contribute to solution analysis, implementation, and technical support for leading financial institutions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with contemporary banking applications, enhance your technical skillset, and grow within a global organization.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 1–4 years of experience in software development, implementation, or support—at least 1 year in relevant technical areas.
  • Technical proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, JavaScript, XML.
  • Experience (or familiarity) with Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Oracle Database (18c/12c).
  • Exposure to banking domain and digital banking applications.
  • Understanding of application servers (esp. Oracle WebLogic), release management, and source control.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English.
  • Willingness to work across time zones and travel as project needs dictate.
Good-to-Have:
  • Exposure to Oracle OBIEE Reports, BI Publisher, Oracle Fusion SOA Suite, or other middleware.
  • Familiarity with software development best practices, Agile/DevOps, cloud/SaaS deployment, and testing tools.
  • Experience in core banking applications and client-facing delivery roles.
  • Functional knowledge of banking concepts, terminologies, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Participate as a technical team member in development, implementation, or managed service projects (migration, integration, testing).
  • Support analysis, design, and delivery of solutions for client business requirements.
  • Develop and troubleshoot programs/applications according to provided specifications and project timelines.
  • Apply prescribed standards, tools, and processes to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with Oracle/client expectations.
  • Prepare clear documentation and adhere to agreed quality, change control, and compliance procedures.
  • Track and promptly address issues; coordinate with Oracle and client teams for resolution.
  • Contribute to effective handover, knowledge transfer, and project status reporting.
  • Accurately submit timesheets and expense reports according to process.
  • Engage in client interactions and deliver presentations as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility for travel and offshore work assignments based on project needs.
