Associate Category Manager - Business Development

Key Responsibility Areas:

· To bring in the relevant assortment

· Engage with vendors to improve the business of category

· Manage partners including sellers and brands

· Grow category through the available levers

· Constant market scanning of competitive assortments & pricing to identify gaps, threat’s and opportunities and taking corrective actions in conjunction with buying, marketing and operations teams

· Managing the process for all inventory returns and their liquidation in line with defined SOPs.

· Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

· Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities

· Have proven data analysis skills

· Overall understanding of business and good business acumen

· Proven experience leading cross-functional projects

· Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

· Ability to analyze market trend and act accordingly

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Monitoring sales and inventory levels to minimise lost opportunities

Education & Professional Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree mandatory

· Master's degree is preferred

· Work experience is preferred (1- 2 years).

· Experience in Consumer-facing sectors such as (Pharma Retail, FMCG is Mandatory)

· Experience in Business, category management

Additional Information:

· This is 6 days work from office role

· Candidate should be open to travel within the region
