With 2 to 4 years of experience, you will be tasked with managing various aspects of category management, including inventory control, discounts management, and strategic planning to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category strategies to meet sales and profitability goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with suppliers to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to recommend pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to implement category plans effectively.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor agreements to secure favorable terms and discounts.
  • Utilize data analytics to track category performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement pricing strategies and markdown plans to drive sales and inventory turn.
  • Collaborate with merchandising teams to plan product assortment and placements to drive sales and margin growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to make informed decisions regarding category management.
  • Participate in regular business reviews and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
As an Associate - Category Management, your role is pivotal in shaping the success of the company's product offerings and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective category management practices. Your expertise in category management, inventory control, and discounts management will be instrumental in driving business results and achieving strategic objectives.
