Job Title:

Associate Business Consultant - Trade Finance

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will bring strong functional understanding of trade finance processes and a solid background in manual testing. You’ll work closely with product owners, developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, robust, and compliant financial solutions. If you’re an analytical problem-solver, team player, and continuous learner with a knack for creative thinking, this role is ideal for you.


Key Responsibilities:

Manual testing

International Trade Finance

Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee’s

SWIFT Payments

·        Knowledge on testing REST APIs/WebServices.

·        Knowledge on database testing is a plus

·        Ability to understand & analyse the complete requirements and write effective test cases.

·        Ability to proactively identify the issues at the earlier cycles of development & testing.

·        Excellent verbal, written communication skills and interpersonal skills

·        Write and execute user stories and test cases.

·        Support bank users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production stages.

·        Provide ongoing business support and ensure optimal client satisfaction.

·        Should have Can Do attitude


Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of overall experience, with:

o At least 2 years in Trade Finance Operations within a bank or banking BPO.

o A minimum of 2 years in testing Trade Finance Systems such as CGI, Intellect iGTB, Newgen, Eximbills, Finastra, IMEX, or Trade Finance modules in core-banking systems like Temenos, Finacle, or Oracle FCUBS.

o Strong experience in drafting user stories, creating test cases, and executing them for Trade Finance solutions.

o Proficiency in delivering functional training, conducting requirement/gap analysis workshops, and writing functional specifications.

o Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA is a plus.

·        Exceptional command of English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

·        Structured, with ability to work as individual contributor as well as in a team, and possess strong organizational and time management skills.

·        High degree of customer orientation, positivity, and responsiveness to employees at all levels.

·        Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.

Education and Certifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management Information Systems or related field
