Assistant Vice President, Product Specialist - Cards, Small Medium Enterprises

As a Product Manager (Commercial Cards), your role will involve driving the end-to-end management of the Commercial Cards portfolio. This includes designing and launching new card products, managing rewards & recognition programs, driving commercialization strategies, ensuring portfolio profitability, and maintaining strong governance & compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and launch innovative commercial card products tailored for SMEs, corporates, and institutional clients - Lead Rewards & Recognition (R&R) program conceptualization, design, and implementation for Commercial Card customers - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Technology, Marketing, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Compliance) to ensure seamless delivery Commercialization & Portfolio Management: - Manage the overall product P&L - Develop and implement commercialization strategies to drive adoption and utilization of commercial cards - Monitor product performance metrics (spend, activation, interchange, yields, and fee income) - Identify new revenue streams (fees, interchange, FX, partnerships) and optimize pricing and value propositions - Partner with sales teams to design client acquisition and engagement campaigns Governance & Risk Management: - Establish strong governance processes for product approval, monitoring, and lifecycle management - Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (RBI, card network rules, internal compliance policies) - Conduct periodic risk reviews, product audits, and portfolio health assessments - Implement customer-centric controls for complaint management and fair practice code adherence Stakeholder Management: - Act as a product champion, enabling Sales/Relationship teams with training, pitch materials, and competitive insights - Build external partnerships with card networks, fintechs, and reward partners for product differentiation - Work with internal governance forums to secure approvals for new product launches and modifications Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of regulatory guidelines governing cards in India (RBI circulars, network mandates, compliance norms) - Analytical and strategic mindset with ability to drive P&L outcomes - Excellent stakeholder management and project leadership skills - Strong communication and presentation skills Additional Details: The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package and provides a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognizes your achievements.
