We are seeking a talented individual to join our Employee Health Benefits team at Marsh India Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd. This role will be based in Mumbai

Assistant Vice President - Employee Health Benefits

We will count on you to:

  • Seek out and drive new business opportunities with net new organizations across your territory, from initial client outreach to close, targeting mid market/large organizations.
  • Engage in direct sales highlighting the case for change and the move to companys solution. Direct sales process will include qualifying leads and customer needs, solution to recommendation, pricing, negotiation, contract signing, handover to account management team.
  • Continually build a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to deliver against your sales metrics ensuring KPI s are met.
  • Quota responsibility for your assigned territory.
  • Manage complex high-revenue sales across matrix and diverse business environments.
  • Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Responsible for closing the sale, setting timelines for implementation, and following up on the agreed timelines.
  • Meet and exceed quota targets set for establishing sales of products and services.
  • Represent company at conferences, speaking events and trade shows.

What you need to have:

  • 7-12 years B2B sales experience, preferably within a complex, intangible sales environments.
  • Business development or new-client acquisition experience in a selling role highly desired.
  • Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives.
  • Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sale process.
  • Willingness to conduct travel as needed.
