Assistant Team Leader

You will be joining our global client finance & accounting practice as an Assistant Team Lead. Your responsibilities will include managing client engagements, training and developing new team members, and ensuring smooth training cycles. You will play a key role in driving successful project execution and coordinating cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing project financials and ensuring that operational and strategic goals are met. Collaboration with senior leaders, internal stakeholders, and external clients will be essential in streamlining processes, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a results-oriented team culture. As an Assistant Team Lead (Finance & Accounting) + (Training and Development), you will be based in Gurgaon, Sector 62, with working hours from 01:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST, Monday to Friday in a hybrid mode. The salary offered will be as per industry standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with department heads and HR managers to identify organizational goals and performance gaps. 2. Design and implement training programs tailored to identified needs, utilizing various training methods to accommodate diverse learning styles. 3. Oversee client engagement and financial management processes to ensure effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight. 4. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior partners, finance managers, project managers, and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted financial advisor. 5. Identify areas for improvement within financial processes, propose actionable solutions, and drive continuous improvement in financial operations by implementing best practices with global teams. Desired Profile: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Proficiency in MS-Excel and Google Sheets - Prior experience in working with QuickBooks/Xero and US Accounting roles is preferred - Professional work-from-home setup, personal laptop, and high-speed broadband connection are required This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, and the opportunity to work from home.
