You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high service standards in our grocery retail supermarket. You will lead a team of customer service representatives, ensuring that they provide efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable service to our valued customers. Your experience in retail operations and customer relationship management will be essential in driving team performance and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and guide a team of customer service representatives to achieve service excellence.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills, focusing on product knowledge, customer service techniques, and conflict resolution.
  • Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement and development.

Customer Interaction:

  • Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues at the store level, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Foster a positive shopping experience by maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Oversee daily customer service operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that service areas are adequately staffed and that shifts are effectively scheduled.
  • Collaborate with management to implement customer service initiatives aimed at enhancing store operations and customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Maintain records of customer interactions and feedback to identify trends, areas for improvement, and training needs.
  • Suggest strategies for improving customer service processes based on data analysis and customer feedback.

Promote Customer Loyalty:

  • Promote customer retention initiatives to enhance customer engagement.
  • Organize events and activities to improve customer interaction with the brand.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12th standard pass
  • 3-4 years of experience in customer service within the retail sector, with 2-4 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices in a grocery retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and foster a positive team culture.
  • Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in Bengali & Hindi and working knowledge of English
