Key Responsibilities

  1. Inventory Management

    :
    • Monitor and maintain optimum stock levels.
    • Perform regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Ensure timely reordering of materials based on stock minimum levels.
    • Update and maintain accurate inventory records.
  2. Material Handling

    :
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products.
    • Ensure that goods received are of the correct quantity, quality, and specifications.
    • Manage the timely dispatch of goods as per schedules.
  3. Staff Management

    :
    • Assign tasks to store staff and monitor their performance.
    • Arrange labor for loading and unloading activities.
    • Train staff on proper store procedures and safety protocols.
  4. Documentation and Reporting

    :
    • Prepare and maintain documentation for inward/outward goods and materials.
    • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, dispatch, and other activities.
    • Maintain packing lists and coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries.
  5. Coordination with Other Departments

    :
    • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to align store activities with company goals.
    • Follow up with the production department on material requirements and schedules.
  6. Compliance and Safety

    :
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment.
    • Implement and monitor proper handling, storage, and security protocols.
  7. Vendor Management

    :
    • Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and resolve any issues related to the quality or quantity of materials received.
    • Conduct vendor assessments and maintain vendor performance records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in store/warehouse management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office tools.
