Position Overview

The Assistant Store Manager will oversee the daily store operations, ensure smooth customer experience, and manage staff during assigned shifts. This role demands strong leadership and hands-on experience in supermarket / FMCG / grocery retail.

(Supermarket/grocery experience is compulsory for selection)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the store during your shift
• Manage floor operations, staff deployment, and customer service
• Monitor inventory, stock availability, and shrinkage control
• Supervise cash counters and ensure billing accuracy
• Handle escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Maintain store hygiene, safety and compliance standards
• Support Store Manager in driving sales & achieving targets
• Guide, mentor and motivate store associates

Mandatory Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Supermarket / FMCG / Grocery Retail
Experience in handling store operations and team supervisionStrong knowledge of merchandising, inventory & customer handlingBasic education is also considered.

Interview
