Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Store Incharge Location: Gorakhpur, Sugauli, Araria Experience Level: 3 - 5 Years Key Responsibilities : Inventory Management : · Oversee all incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate receiving, inspection, and dispatch. · Maintain optimal stock levels, conduct regular stock audits, and reconcile discrepancies. · Implement and maintain efficient storage systems for easy retrieval and identification of goods. · Minimize stock damage, obsolescence, and shrinkage. · Prepare and submit regular inventory reports. ERP System Management : · Proficiently use and manage the ERP system for all store-related transactions, including goods receipts, issues, transfers, and returns. · Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the ERP system. · Generate reports from the ERP system for analysis and decision-making. Warehouse Operations : · Manage the day-to-day operations of the store/warehouse, including loading, unloading, sorting, and stacking. · Ensure proper handling and storage of goods, adhering to safety standards and company policies. · Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and logistics departments to ensure seamless material flow. · Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store premises. Documentation & Compliance : · Maintain accurate records of all store transactions, including GRNs, GINs, transfer notes, etc. · Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. · Assist in internal and external audits. Continuous Improvement: · Identify areas for process improvement within store operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. · Implement best practices for inventory and warehouse management. Qualifications : · Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). · 3-5 years of progressive experience in store management, warehouse management, or inventory control. · Mandatory: Proven hands-on experience with an ERP system for inventory and warehouse modules. Please specify which ERP systems you have experience with in your application. · Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse best practices. · Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills. · Attention to detail and accuracy. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). · Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required (if applicable to the role).
