Job Description


The Assistant Sales Manager will drive business growth for Kenter Cables and MegawinSwitchgear product lines, with an added focus on Electrical Project Sales (SITC) in commercialsegments. This role involves expanding the customer base, managing key accounts, andexecuting sales strategies for wires, cables, RMUs, electrical panels, and SITC projects inBangalore.


Key Responsibilities :


Sales Development & Target Achievement




  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities for Kenter Cables and Megawin Switchgear.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for wires, cables, RMUs, panels, and SITC projects.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and technical proposals to clients.

  • Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, electrical consultants, contractors, project managers, and commercial project stakeholders.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales support, including product selection, quotations, and after-sales service.

  • Electrical Project Sales (SITC) Commercial Segments
  • Develop and manage sales opportunities for SITC projects in commercial buildings (offices, malls, hotels, hospitals, etc.).
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams for project estimation, bidding, and execution support.

  • Market Expansion
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and industry trends in the Bangalore region.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand market share for both dealerships and SITC projects.

  • Team Collaboration
  • Support the Sales Manager in planning and executing sales campaigns.
  • Mentor junior sales staff and coordinate with technical and service teams for project delivery.

  • Reporting & Administration
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.




  • Candidate Profile :

  • Education: Bachelor s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Any Degree with relevant experience
  • Experience: 1-3 years in B2B sales of electrical products or project sales (preferably wires, cables, switchgear, panels, or SITC) in Bangalore territory
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical distribution products and solutions.
  • Experience in SITC sales for commercial projects is a plus.
  • Strong technical knowledge of LT/HT cable & Electrical panels including their applications in power and industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with IS and IEC standards for cable & Panel products is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage project-based sales and long sales cycles.
  • Established network of clients and channel partners in the Bengaluru or Karnataka region.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and sales CRM platforms.
  • Must own a vehicle for travel within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to travel as needed within the state or region.
  • Working knowledge of Kannada is an added advantage.

  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in coordinating with electrical consultants and MEP contractors.
  • Exposure to government and utility tender-based sales is beneficial.
  • Experience in working with channel partners or distributor networks.
