Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Assistant Production Manager with a strong background in the garment/apparel industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production supervisors, ensuring smooth shop floor operations, meeting production targets, and maintaining quality and compliance standards.

This role requires people management skills, hands-on production knowledge, and leadership ability to drive efficiency and discipline across teams.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Production Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth production operations and team management. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading production supervisors and indirectly guiding operators, ensuring daily production plans are executed effectively.
• Monitoring team performance, assigning tasks, resolving escalations, and maintaining discipline and teamwork on the work floor.
• Assisting the Production Manager in planning and executing daily/weekly production schedules and ensuring targets are met on time with consistent quality.
• Coordinating with the Quality team to enforce SOPs, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions, while ensuring compliance with safety and company standards.
• Preparing daily and weekly production and efficiency reports, and collaborating with warehouse, maintenance, and quality departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Identifying challenges and suggesting process improvements to enhance productivity.
• Enforcing workplace safety standards, promoting a clean and organized environment, and ensuring all employees follow compliance and safety regulations.Requirements:Salary & Benefits:Work Type:If you have strong production expertise in the garment industry and excellent team-handling skills, we would love to hear from you!
• Graduate/Diploma in Textile/Garment Production, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in the garment/apparel manufacturing industry, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/assistant manager role.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and compliance standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
